Must have been from the afternoon sun. Just took them down and have to think of something else. Babys sleep well when they're very young but by the time they're around 4 months and become very social they're more sensitive to the light while sleeping - at least in our case. It will not keep him or her asleep though. They will grow out of waking every two to three hours in about 3 to 9 months. Depends on your child, not your window treatment. If you are a good measurer and cutter they will fit in easily but stay by friction against the window frame sides. Cover them on the inside with decorative fabric so they look better. They can be removed easily and stand behind a chair or furniture if you don't want to look at them when not in use. Also take a sheet, double it over and thumb tack across the top of the window.
